Institute for
System Level Integration
Livingston, Scotland.
The Institute for System Level Integration was set up in 1998 as a collaboration between Scottish Enterprise and four Scottish universities: Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heriot-Watt, and Strathclyde. It provides postgraduate education, professional training and research in system level integration and system-on-chip technologies.
Both Edinburgh and Livingston are easily reached from Edinburgh's international airport. There are connections via London and Amsterdam, and direct flights to many major European cities. Glasgow Airport offers further options including direct flights from North America. Glasgow is less than an hour by train from Edinburgh. Edinburgh has good road and rail links with the rest of the United Kingdom. The train journey from London takes about five hours.
