11th Advanced Research Working Conference
on Correct Hardware Design and Verification Methods

4-7 September 2001
Institute for System Level Integration
Livingston, Scotland.

Location

CHARME 2001 will take place at the Institute for System Level Integration in Livingston, Scotland, and in nearby Edinburgh. It is expected that most participants will use accommodation in Edinburgh, travelling to and from the Institute by a short journey on bus transport provided by the conference organisers. This will allow participants to enjoy the excellent restaurants, bars, and other amenities Edinburgh has to offer without worrying about transport back to hotels in the evenings.

The Institute for System Level Integration was set up in 1998 as a collaboration between Scottish Enterprise and four Scottish universities: Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heriot-Watt, and Strathclyde. It provides postgraduate education, professional training and research in system level integration and system-on-chip technologies.

Both Edinburgh and Livingston are easily reached from Edinburgh's international airport. There are connections via London and Amsterdam, and direct flights to many major European cities. Glasgow Airport offers further options including direct flights from North America. Glasgow is less than an hour by train from Edinburgh. Edinburgh has good road and rail links with the rest of the United Kingdom. The train journey from London takes about five hours.
