Data, Data Everywhere

The British National Conference on Databases (BNCOD) was established in 1980 as a forum for discussing original research results in the theory and practice of database systems and, since then, BNCOD has attracted an international audience to discuss the leading research topics of the day in the field.

BNCOD 2007, the 24th in the series will be held at the University of Glasgow from the 3rd to the 5th July, 2007. The conference will include presentations by two keynote speakers of international renown, Prof. Stefano Ceri of the Politechnico di Milano and Prof. Norman Paton of the University of Manchester, and a schedule of refereed research and application papers, a poster session, some demonstrations and a panel discussion. There will be a PhD forum associated with the conference and co-located workshops.

The Conference seeks research papers, posters and demonstrations for publication in the proceedings. Both full (12 pages) and short (8 pages) papers and poster papers (4 pages describing work in progress) can be submitted. All papers will be published in the conference proceedings by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.
