Data, Data Everywhere

Call for Attendance

The British National Conference on Databases (BNCOD) was established in 1980 as a forum for research into the theory and practice of databases and, since then, BNCOD has attracted an international audience to discuss the leading research topics of the day in the field.

The theme of BNCOD 2007, the 24th in the series, is Data, Data, Everywhere and we have accepted 26 contributions from around the world, selected from a range of submissions. The main conference runs, as is usual, from Tuesday lunchtime to Thursday lunchtime. It is preceded by a PhD Forum and workshops on the teaching, learning and assessment of databases and on the web and information management.

The social programme includes a civic reception at Glasgows city chambers, a magnificent Victorian building constructed with the wealth of Glasgow's mercantile past, and the conference banquet on the shores of beautiful Loch Lomond, preceded by a short cruise on the loch. Other events will be orgnised nearer the time.
