Broad base of knowledge and skills

All our graduates must achieve an understanding of related concepts from mathematics and other sciences, as well as an understanding of the social, legal and ethical implications of their work.

 

Personal skills

Teamwork is crucial; most professional computing projects are carried out through working in partnership with other computing scientists, engineers, scientists or business analysts. Essential skills include being able to interact with colleagues and clients and to communicate ideas effectively both in reports and in oral presentations. Attention to detail and a motivation to create quality, reliability and safety in applications are necessary. Our students enjoy such challenges and have the patience, persistence and determination to achieve their goals.
