Experience in Research and Development:
Personally involved in the EU funded MIRO working group, FERMI project, KWICK project and IDOMENEUS Network of Excellent. I am also chair of the British Computer Society's specialist group on Information Retrieval. I have also taken part as an "expert" on DGXIII discussions in 1993 and carried out consultancy on interfaces for IR for the European Space Agency in Italy.
