| Getting to Glasgow | |||||
|
Rail: Glasgow is served by two stations - Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street. Both stations are a short taxi or subway ride from the University. Air: The most convenient airport for the University is Glasgow International with regular flights throughout the UK and Europe. A taxi from the airport will cost around GBP 15. There is also a frequent bus service from the airport into the centre of town which costs about GBP 6 return. From some destinations, it may be cheaper to fly to Glasgow Prestwick. However, this is about 40 miles from Glasgow and so either requires a train to Central station or an expensive (GBP 40ish) taxi. A more comprehensive guide to getting to the University can be found here. |
