This paper investigates the performance behaviour of probabilisitc flooding in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) under different working conditons. Our simulation results show that the mean node speed and pause time parameters of the random waypoint model, which is widely used in the literature, have a critical impact on the saved rebroadcast and reachability metrics achieved by probabilistic flooding.</ABSTRACT></RECORD></RECORDS></XML>
