In this article, we report on a workshop held at Glasgow, UK, in October 2006. The workshop program consisted of three invited talks, four provocative presentations, and a panel discussion. In addition, 15 poster presentations enriched the workshop themes. Important pointers to further development of adaptive IR systems and their evaluation were suggested.
<URL>http://www.dcs.gla.ac.uk/~hideo/pub/sigir08/forum08.pdf</URL></RECORD></RECORDS></XML>
