Abstract:

In this paper we discuss the role of geodesic as part of interaction methods for morphological measurements and surface segmentation on 3D models of the face, breast and foot. We present three different software tools, developed for clinical assessment purposes, and explain the design of specific interaction elements. In order to highlight the use of these tools, we deliver a brief insight into the type of surgery planning requested by our collaborating clinicians.
