Prestwick Airport The First Scotrail rail link for Prestwick, has frequent services which arrive at Central Station.

Travel around the city

Getting around in Glasgow is easy. Most of the city is within walking distance, with public transport (buses, taxis, underground and suburban trains) facilitating longer journeys.

Accomodation
Hotel Accommodation was being handled for ECOOP 2005 by the Glasgow Convention Bureau through their on-line booking form, but this service has now closed. The most convenient hotels are the three on-site ([Moat House], [City Inn], [Campanile]); all still have space available. Glasgow has dozens of hotels to suit every price range. The tourist information website also has extensive details on accommodation and attractions/events around Glasgow - too many to list individually here.
The SECC Accomodation page lists more.
