DDR-2011: Diversity in Document Retrieval

Call for Papers

We invite submissions of original research papers (8 pages) and position papers (5 pages) in the general area of diversity in document retrieval. Potential topics include (but are not limited to):

  • Product & review diversification
  • Opinion and sentiment diversification
  • Summarisation
  • Legal precedents & patents
  • Diverse recommender systems
  • Diversifying in real-time & news search
  • Diversification in other verticals (image/video search etc.)
  • Presentation:
  • Presentation of diverse search results
  • Clustering of diverse search results
  • User studies on interfaces for diversity
  • Explorative or faceted interfaces for diversity
  • Diversity within aggregated/universal search

Submission Instructions

Submissions should report new (unpublished) research results, or ongoing research. Both technical paper submissions (upto 8 pages including references) and position papers (upto 5 pages including references) will be orally presented. All paper submissions must be written in English following the LNCS author guidelines. Submissions should not be anonymised.

Papers should be submitted through the Workshop's EasyChair submission system.

  • 4th April, 2011: Camera-Ready papers due
