I'm a post-doctoral researcher in the Multimodal Interaction Group (MIG) in the University of Glasgow Computing Science Department. MIG is part of the Glasgow Interactive Systems Group (GIST) and is run by Prof Stephen Brewster.

I'm currently working on the GAIME project that is looking at hands free and eyes free interaction techniques for mobile contexts.

My interests include haptics, multimodal interaction and novel interaction mechanisms. I'm also interested in the use of computers in teaching and learning. Past projects include investigating the use of haptic simulators for veterinary training which Sarah Baillie now works on. I recently worked on the MICOLE project which explored inclusive interfaces for allowing visually impaired children to work, play and collaborate. For more info on any of these projects look at the Projects page.
