Introduction

Two workshops are being hosted by the Department of Computing Science of the University of Glasgow in September 1996. These workshops are being held in the Buchanan Arms Hotel, Drymen. Details of these Workshops are provided below. Up to date information will be added to these pages as it becomes available.

These are both international workshops that are being hosted by our Persistence and Distribution Research Group. The first workshop, "Persistence And Java", commences in the Department on Monday 16th September and then adjourns to Drymen. The second workshop, "Research Directions in Advanced Information Systems", takes place entirely in Drymen. Both workshops are described below.
