21st European Annual Conference on Human Decision Making and Control

Best Presentation Award

15th and 16th July 2002, University of Glasgow.

Springer Verlag have generously offered a prize for the best presentation during the conference. The presenter will receive one year's subscription to Cognition, Technology and Work, the International Journal for the Analysis, Design and Use of Joint Cognitive Systems as well as being invited to submit a full paper for rapid publication the journal.

The most democratic means of doing this is to take a vote at the end of the conference. Delegates will be given a voting form to be handed in during the final day of the meeting. The winner will be announced at the final session. In the event of a tie, members of the organising committee will make the final decision.

As a guide, the best presentation should introduce new concepts or present existing ideas in an innovative manner. The style of presentation should make the technical content clear to the audience. It should provoke thought and discussion.

Please address any questions about this to either Chris Johnson or Carlo Cacciabue.
