E deck was a second vehicle deck. It was a through deck enclosed by sidehouses between frames 21 and 159 port and starboard, open at the after end and closed forward by weathertight door. There was a suspended vehicle platform deck (D deck) on port and starboard sides within this vehicle space (Section 4.5 Page 3).
