The University Wind Band was formed several
years ago by the
Music
Club to encourage music in a relaxed and social atmosphere.
It's free to all club members and there are no auditions. The band caters for a wide range of abilities and tastes and we play almost everything from traditional military band music to film scores; we have also given several premieres of new works. The band has grown steadily, and is now a full sixty-piece ensemble.
We meet on Mondays between 5.00pm and 7pm Everyone is welcome to join!
