POST DOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSISTANT: EPSRC SIGNAL Project

A post doctoral research position on the EPSRC funded project SIGNAL

Supervisor: Professor Muffy Calder

The SIGNAL project: Stochastic Process Algebra for Biochemical Signalling Pathway Analysis, is a collaborative EPSRC project with University of Edinburgh. You will develop new computational modelling and analysis techniques for biochemical pathways, based on stochastic process algebra, stochastic simulation, and model checking. You should have a PhD and research experience in formal verification or formal methods, with an interest in dynamical systems and systems biology.

This post has funding for 2 years in the first instance.
