Hi Pat,

 

Just to let you know that we do not have full access to the lab machines, and as such cannot make any changes to C:\ or our $PATH = variable in windows.

 

I have just tried to get the assessed exercise up and running and eventually got it to work under the following conditions:

- Claire goes onto our H:\ drive (my conf H:\Program Files\Claire\Claire3.exe)

- Choco goes into our H:\ drive (my conf H:\Program Files\Choco\*)

- Claire3 is not in the path, so I run it from its directory meaning…

             - I’ve copied init.cl (for choco) to H:\Program Files\Claire\

             - I’ve placed my code (the crystal maze stuff) there too.

             - I’ve had to edit the init.cl file (which automatically points to C:\Choco, to point to H:\Program Files\Choco where applicable).

- It then works

 

This is quite messy, so I thought I’d let you know the details in case you’d rather get in touch with support about sorting something simpler out?
