At the start of the second day the walk continues along a road for a mile or so then cuts in to Rowardennan forest where the path ascends to the top where the next picture was taken, looking across the Loch.

Dinner time at the end of day two. The section that we have finished at this stage is the toughest section. This picture was taken from the loch side just past Inversnaid Hotel.

In the back ground is Doune Bothy this is where we spent the second night.

As you can see the bothy is very basic inside. If you decide to use the bothy be sure to leave it in the same condition as you found it.
