Away from work, I am divorced with four grown up sons and like adventure.

1969: National Physical Laboratory, London (Gap year).
1969-1980: University of Cambridge (MA in 72, Maths Part III in 73, Maths PhD in 78).
1980-1981: University of Cardiff
1981-1992: University of Glasgow
1992-1993: University of UNC (Sabbatical)
1993-now: University of Glasgow.
