My work in graphical passwords was based on the measurement of the security of recognition-based graphical passwords. My PhD was entitled 'Measuring the Security of Recognition-Based Graphical Passwords' and resulted in a number of metrics established through user studies, simulations, and statistical methods, by which to allow one to easily compare the security of two recognition-based graphical password schemes.
