I completed my PhD research at the Department of Computing Science at the University of Glasgow in April 2006, under the supervision of Dr. Iadh Ounis and Prof. Keith van Rijsbergen. My thesis with title "Selective Web Information Retrieval" can be found here.
My main research interests are Web IR, architectures for IR systems, and contextual/search advertising.
I have also been involved in the development of the Terrier IR platform.
