This heavy duty solenoid controlled tongue switch controls access to hazardous machines with rundown times. Olympus withstands the arduous environments associated with the frequent operation of heavy duty access guards. The unit also self adjusts to tolerate a high degree of guard misalignment. The stainless steel tongue actuator is self-locking and can only be released after the solenoid receives a signal from the machine control circuit. This ensures that the machine has completed it's cycle and come to rest before the tongue can be disengaged and machine access obtained.
