I am working as a researcher at School of Computing Science University of Glasgow, Scotland United Kingdom.
My research mainly focuses on Modelling and Analysis of Feature Interactions involved in Service Oriented Product Lines. Service Oriented Product Lines provides a flexible way to model Service Composition Processes to develop more customized Composite Web Services. I am particularly interested in integrating the popular modelling and analysis paradigms used for (software and information systems design) such as Feature Modelling, Goal Modelling, and Formal Techniques (Software Abstractions), and their useful fusion to model and analyse Services Oriented Systems.
One obvious practical reason of using the formal methods is that, they give a way of designing trustable safety- and security-critical systems. These are systems in which we need to have the highest possible confidence. Therefore, an integrated framework (Feature Modelling & Formal Methods) can provide an efficient way to detect and resolve undesired interactions among the features of Web Services in a systematic way, and hence producing quality oriented feature interaction free web services as a result
