CS-1Q: Computer Systems Home Page


The CS1Q course provides a broad introduction to the fundamentals of computing science ranging from human computer interaciton, through mathematics, information management and systems concepts. Within this introduction, the systems component will introduce you to the structure of a computer system at a range of levels: logic gates, functional units within the CPU, functional units within the computer, the operating system, the high-level programmer's view, networks
