I am a Systems Specialist in the School of Computing Science (formerly the Department of Computing Science).  I have worked in the school since 1995, firstly as a Research Assistant on various projects and then as Systems Manager for the Glasgow side of the nascent National e-Science Centre.

Following that,  in 2003 I was employed on a permanent contract to work in the school with the Systems Development Group.

I am married to Tracy and have a daughter Katie, born in July 2009.
