My research interests are mostly to do with combinatorial search. From a practical point of view, I am interested in problems such as scheduling, vehicle routing, general resource allocation, etc. Form a higher up level, I am interested in constraint programming, constraint satisfaction and optimisation. Backing up one more level, I am interested in problems, what makes them sometimes hard and sometimes easy, algorithms and heuristics, and trying to understand their behaviour.
