Overview

Risk Management in its various characteristics plays an important role in the scientific community as well as in industry and the public sector. In order to respond to new threats that are arising from changes in the environment and markets, we need to develop new and innovative techniques, methods, or applications to deal with risk. Building on the success of last year’s event, this conference aims to provide an interdisciplinary forum for researchers and practitioners in academia, industry and government to present and discuss their latest findings in the area of Risk Management Planning, Emergency Planning and Fire Safety Management.

  • (Fire-) Risk Management in the Built Environment
  • (Fire-) Risk Management for Special and High Risk Buildings/Sites
  • (Fire-) Risk Management for Heritage Buildings
  • Inter-Infrastructure Risks
  • Contingency Planning
  • Long Term Strategic Planning
