To accompany the academic content of the conference the committee have organised a series of events to enable delegates to socialise and explore the city of Glasgow
Drinks Reception with the Lord Provost of Glasgow
We would like to thank the Lord Provost and City Council for their kindness and generosity in providing a drinks reception for the Soc Info conference and for offering the City Chambers as a venue. By extending their warm welcome to the conference delegates the Lord Provost continues to strengthen the connection between Academia at the University of Glasgow, the City Council and indeed the city of Glasgow itself.
The Drinks Reception will be at 6.00pm on Wednesday 19 October 2022 in the City Chambers, Glasgow, G2 1DU.
Gala Dinner
Soc Info 2022 would like to invite all delegates to a Gala Dinner. The evening will provide an opportinity to reflect on the infomation and relationships gained during the conference.
The Gala dinner will be hosted at 7:00pm in Glasgow's West End, at the Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel.
Acknowledgement of Support
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the various bodies and organistions who contributed to the running of the conference.
Glasgow University has provided ongoing support for the organisation and running of Soc Info 2022. By doing so they continue the univsities' contribution to cutting edge research whilst fostering relations with the wider academic community. The joint venture of the Adam Smith Business School and the School of Computing Science represents the ongoing interdisciplinary connections between the two schools. The organisers extend their sincerest thanks to the time, effort and dedication made by the two schools.
